Wayne Weiseman

Wayne Weiseman is certified by the Permaculture Institute of Australia and the Worldwide Permaculture Network as an instructor of the Permaculture Design Certificate Course. He is the director of Kinstone Academy of Applied Permaculture (KAAP) in Fountain City, Wisconsin, the Permaculture Project LLC, and the Permaculture Design-Build Collaborative LLC, full-service, international consulting and educational businesses promoting the ideas of eco-agriculture, renewable energy resources, and eco-construction methods. For many years he managed a land-based, self-reliant community project combining organic crop/food production, ecologically built shelters, renewable energy, and appropriate technologies.

Whole House Agriculture: August 11-13 In this intensive three (3) day class you will that “farming” can be defined in a much broader sense that what we are used to. Farming is not just something that is done on large tracts of land out in the country! You can farm in your own windowsills, under grow lights in your basement, in containers on your deck, in your front and back yards, on your hobby farm or larger homestead. It works ANYWHERE! You will learn techniques to help you engage in creating your own food and medicine from a variety of sources in and around your own home. Techniques and methods that work on any environment and in various seasons will be discussed and demonstrated. Learn how to contribute to fresh, ready nutrition for yourself and your family. Learn how plants can provide you with many medicines that strengthen the body and the soul. Registered students who attend the course receive lunch on each class day. Daily Schedule: 8:30am – 5:00pm Course Fee: Early bird: $225 After June 30: $275
